Worst Movies of 2009

my doubts on Avatar is that i don't trust a movie that people have to tell you "the only way to see it is in 3-D"

That scream to me of a shit story polished with pretty effects so you don't notice.

Unlike critics choice Best Picture, The Hurt Locker. IMO that movie they could of had CGI explosions, cheap explosions, w.e. and it wouldn't alter the movie that much because the storytelling, the drama, etc. is the meat and potatoes of it.

He has a name.

Good movies are scripted BEFORE they are cast. They don't change the story based on who they fill the roles with.

And I too was surprised he took a role that killed him off so soon. He must have really liked the script.

As much as I enjoyed the Hurt Locker, the story is flawed on so many levels once you break it down. However it did keep me on the edge of my seat.

Holy shit! Thats why i didnt even go see it!! My girlfriend said it best. She saw a preview of it and said, "Meh, just looks like "Dances with Wolves" Smurf style." And she said that before that episode of South Park came out......I laughed so hard i almost pissed myself. And yes...Avatar = Fern Gully, just with better graphics.....

Crank: High Voltage: OMG, give me a fucking break.....Crank was actually half decent with good humor, but this one would make a dead man cry!
Surrogates: Yup, just shit. Come on Bruce, make another Die Hard, not this crap!
A Christmas Carol: You know, i thought by putting Jim Carrey in this one it might spruce it up and make it be a little different, but its just the same old thing.
GI Joe: I left not even half way through.
Gamer: I enjoyed the idea behind it and it could have been good, but it just left me disappointed. It was kinda like that night you leave the bar with the girl and she turns out to be a guy.....just bad.
