1) I'll bet there will be people on the right celebrating (as some on the far right like to pretend they believe in "freedom of speech" whe they really mean just for them)
2) Rhodes was fun to listen to for the same reason Beck is, the shear hilarity of the stupid statements said
3) Having heard some conservative shows on local radio here, I can say Rush is at least better then quite a few of them (Crowley, Ingram, and a couple other thats name are slipping me). There was one that was pretty good, even if i didn't agree with him all the time but i can't remember his name at all :3

It was a problem of content and structure. Limbaugh, Beck, those guys don't have a huge "network". They are show hosts who are syndicated into existing networks and stations that have established demographics. Rush doesnt have to support an entire radio station...he just has to do a show that some people like and he will be syndicated to those markets.
Air America was trying to be the ESPN-Radio of liberal politics. It was never going to work, even though roughly half the country agrees with most of their positions.

I have watched some Glen Beck since being home for the baby and dont agree at all Scott. I dont see him as a nutjob.
He is over the top at times, but the stone throwers who are condemning him as another Marshal Applegate are just as over the top.
