    Stuck in a class where everyone is religious but you...

    and its a discussion on religion and its role in government etc. Half the crap being complained about i felt should be okay, but being the only non-religious person there its not like you can say anything without knowing your probably going to get chastised or your ass beat.


    My favorite part too was how religions can go door-to-door because they aren't doing it for money.

    Religion isn't about money, but Organized religion sure as hell is.

    They beat you up, its a hate crime. Chastised for what, exactly? It is arguable that atheists/agnostics know more about our country, how, what, why went into the founding of our country. The day we become silent because of fear of reprisal, is the day that we are doomed as a society and as a people.

    Do you give a shit about anyone particular in the class? I say, say your piece. It's open discussion. If they want to gang up on you and your right to your own opinion, then fuck em. You respect their right to their opinion, they should do the same for you.

    HUH? Seriously, wtf HUH? That you even typed that makes me wonder. How anyone could even begin to "test" or "prove" that statement to be anything other than an attempt at trolling is beyond me. How does being atheist/agnostic have anything to do with better understanding the rationale behind the "founding?"

    The rest I can agree with more or less Pote, but that statement was way the fuck out there.
