If in order to be "noticed" in the music industry you must go to her extremes with looks/fashion or whatever you call it, rather than relying on talent, soul and intelligence, she can keep any "surprise" she has in store for me. Unless its her boobs.

Right...the way she dresses is how her songs got on the radio. that makes sense.

I bet....gaga would rather not be looked at. She seems like one of those people...like manson......like cobain....who just wants the music. That, or music in a more private, small-stage kind of setting, and not all the hollywood drama.

Gaga's songs kick ass. pokerface? bad romance? Which would you rather here.... "bad romance" or "womanizer". It's like rock. Who would you rather hear? Manson, or Creed?

IF you appreciate the art...at least gaga is trying. her shit is NOT the same kind of shit you hear out of clarkson, or simpson, or spears, or even other dance diva's like cascada.

I know the way she dresses is not what got her songs on the radio, but it definitely added to her "appeal". So in all actuality, I guess looking and dressing like a friggin weirdo is great marketing. IMO, her songs are no better, nor any worse, than the others you mention - Spears, Clarkson, Simpson etc. It is all MTV bs. But then again, I'm sure I am not their target audience.

I hate to admit it, but upon first hearing "Love Game" it stuck with me . . . for a minute . . .
