And although we have problems with AT&T DSL at home, it's because somewhere along the 22-24k of dedicated line ran to our house (in the middle of nowhere) has sprung a leak. Every time it rains... forget it. Otherwise it's pretty good and stable.

(BTW- Technically we shouldn't even have DSL, says all the techs that I've called out to look at the line... Something about boosting the noise on the line, and the noise alone takes up 60% or some such.)

That is pretty surprising then if you have AT&T. Usually they don't go that far from their nodes. At least that is what we were told and what I always heard when I worked for them.
