Well, I've seem to gotten over the emotion part of this tragady. My grandfather requested that he be cremated and have the ashes buried next to the gandmother I never meet.
I know a little about him but I'm sure I'll know more as time goes on. I know he served in Korea and almost lost his leg by a grenade and two bullets. He did receive the purple heart and never returned to the war. I think he took up chemistry right after his discharge. He worked at pratt and whintey as a chemist for some time and burned him self a few times. I don't know what he did after pratt and witney. He used to be a big star trek and star wars fan. We are and have been selling his stuff to make room in the house and pay off bills. We still have some left in our house to sell if any body would like something. He also liked comics and found his hidden stash. Some were worth $500 times. I don't know what he did after pratt and witney. He used to be a big star trek and star wars fan. I remeber him saying that he wanted to see me become an eagle scout and join the army and wanted to be at graduation cerimony. I'm not to far from getting eagle scout and I'm not close to going in the army. I know that I had no control on his fate but he always looked to see what would happen next and not look back.
I won't forget him.
