Let's see...

A Japanese car maker, who employs several hundred thousand NON-Union workers.

Less than 20 confirmed cases of actual failure, out of god knows how many millions of cars and trucks built.

"Just in time" inventory controls, buying components from UAW controlled parts suppliers.

A current Whitehouse administration that heavily favors, and owes a lot of political payback to the unions.

A sycophantic media that could'nt tell an honest story if they were reading a bible.

This whole situation smells of political payback. If the government were actually concerned about this situation, then maybe they would properly fund the regulatory agencies that have oversight on these matters.

If it hasn't occured already, then I suspect it won't be much longer that Toyota will be made an offer... let the unions in and your problems will go away. jmho

yea, my girl and I were driving down the highway and we were having this argument and I said, "well, fords are built ford tough" and she said, "well Chevys are like a rock" and as she said that there was a broken down chevy on the side of the highway and I said, "guess you win that one, they are like a rock" as I pointed it out.

RIGHT ON!!!!!!!. Ford didnt take a bailout.Ive owned Fords for about my last 5 vehicles with no problems.I love their style.GM=Gov't motors and they sink like a rock!!! And most of all... FUCK THEY GAY ASS ASIAN CARS!!!! BUY AMERICAN and keep your fellow americans working.

Tundra's parts are made in the US, and assembled in the US. I don't know about other toyota vehicles though. My dad has a tundra and it's a fantastic truck.

A large portion of Ford vehicles are produced in some crazy awesome factory in Brazil. Although I give ford props for convincing the UAW to work for $55 an hour instead of $75.

Camry's are made about a stones throw from here in Georgetown, Kentucky. Plenty of non union labor around here that is perfectly satisfied with how toyota treats them, hell they even have their own pharmacy and gym.
