By low mileage I mean less than 250k. That is about the point to where that 7.3 is just getting broke in.

Well, im sold. Tonight, my gfs sister slammed into my truck (1991 F150) so its pretty much pure steel and "built ford tough" Damage ot my truck? Minimal she barely bent my bumper in. Damage to her 2006 Dodge avenger? Bumper completely dented in with paint chipped off. So i say go with ford trucks. They really truely are the toughest things out there.

This is my rig and I love it to death!

    year: 1994
    make: Chevrolet
model: 2500 4x4 (HD but not said, 1 ton rear axle)
motor size: 7.4L 454ci Big Block, Throttle Body Fuel Injection
cab size: 2 door extended cab 6 seets
    bed size: 8'!!
    mpg avg: 11.5
    city: 10
highway: On a good day 13
    towing mpg: Yah right... 8ish
towing capacities: Something like 12,000 pounds, and thats NOTHING for the 454!

If you want a new rig I would look into the Chevy 1500. They are making some good rigs right now! Get the Work Truck package and the V6 and you should be good to go!
