Like I said... Walt's brilliant escape plan did not strengthen his hand in any obvious way. He bought himself a VERY limited amount of time during which he now faces even worse odds. Will be very interesting to see how he gets out of it. I have no guess, other than the obvious "kill Gus." Maybe Pinkman will go Rambo... but he's gonna have a hard time going up against Solid Snake aka Mike the Cleaner.

My take was Gus was grooming Walt to be a leader. The talk in Gus' house?

This season had left a lot open. As probably intended. Like the last episode. Where they showed Mike with is daughter. Was that nessicary?although it explained the balloons. But knowing the writing staff it probably had a underlying meaning. Such as Mike is only human. He make mistakes. Like how did he miss Pinkmen in his own town? Or how Walt got Gales address.

The only person to really have no back story is Gus' right hand man. He barely speaks but he's been in every episode.
