I've listened to some of her music before. She did some songs with "The Roots" a few years back that was pretty good. I heard about this yesterday. As Hawg said - the vid is not raunchy. But, I also think that there was no point to it other than shock value to help garner interest in the album. She's been "out" of the limelight for a time and this appears to be a ploy for attention.

I just don't see the point to the video. I don't necessarily have an issue with it, but I guess it is one of those "art things" I just don't get.

so been too lazy to change the channel and red eye is saying her video is "about republicans being quick to kill our leader."

Way to turn something into a political thing. And in bad news, how is it there isn't a version without the blur?
