TED: Gaming can make a better world
http://www.ted.com/talks/jane_mcgoni...ter_world.html
the world currently plays 3 billion hours of games a week. This lady believes there should be 21 billion hours of play each week.
Can we find our epic win?
Discuss.
I think it is an interesting idea and makes sense in this current economy and world issues.
I believe this also helps show that teamplay and more social gameplay is the future of games. She implies that the gaming world is the smart world, the geniuses of the next century.
Ideas, ideas, I love it. It is a great philosophical ideal.

Re: TED: Gaming can make a better world
I seriously doubt that the whole world could triple their playing time. That means even if you only play for an hour a night, where do you get the two extra hours if you have an extremely busy schedule.
Even if it makes the world a heaven on earth, there is no possible way for people to live normal lives like that.
