...you get summoned for jury duty :3 freaking people, can't they just stop breaking the law :5 I know I am just being bitter, and this is something that we can do to ensure our legal system remains as far from complete control as possible, but come on. and My brother also got summoned to a different case on the EXACT SAME DAY. What are the odds of that? :1

Now would be a very bad time to mention I've never been summoned? My brother has, who is two years younger then me, but I have never been summoned. -knocks on about sixty pieces of wood-

haha that's pretty lucky. My mom is 52 and just got summoned last year for the first time

Summer break...I remember those days - barely. Packing up my dorm room, headed for Orlando to work the summer in the bars of a Disney resort...rollin in cash, getting nookie from hot guests, spending my off days at the beach or playing golf after sleeping until 11:00...

It is an exciting thing to fulfill your civic duty and help uphold justice through a fair trial. I have been summoned twice for county and once for federal. Made it to a panel once, but I have been witness to several crimes and currently subpoenaed on multiple cases, so they dont want me.
