xis, are you wanting a custom built cart, or integration of an existing package? I will try to catch you on steam when I get home.

I know I'm just busting balls. And neither of you noobs caught my spelling error on the title. Civil would have been all over it.
I leave my grammar nazi-ing for the spell checker.

More seriously though if you want me to try to work on this I could work on it after I finish the project we are working on right now.
Sure. You have samples of work you've done with shopping carts I can look at? I'm meeting
one company tomorrow (Thursday) night to give them an idea of what it would cost.

There are a bunch of free carts online that you can use. We used http://www.fatfreecart.com/ for our group project.

You can customize them pretty easly if you know some of the basics. Ours didn't turn out that bad (would have been better if I did it but it was a "group" project so I let someone else try to tackle it...)

Civil: Either as long as it works for the client.

Keiron: The problem is getting them to work nicely with our custom design.

I don't have a problem creating the front end. All the xhtml/css coding graphic design etc I can handle.
It's the integration of the cart that I honestly would rather not deal with if the price is right.

This way I figure we can take on more work.

Here's the site the client sent me as a sample of what he's looking to do.
    http://www.deandeluca.com/

Again I can handle the front end. Can we put a cart on something like this w/o messing up the design?

Just looking at it, it should be doable without messing up the design.

But honestly my experience with them is minimal so hopefully someone else will be able to give you a better answer and more help.

That fat free cart will definitely not work since it uses either pay-pal or google cart. They're paid version is a little better but still
lacks in many ways. When this is done the customer should be able to log into a secure "admin login" area and be able to add
and delete products in different categories w/o having to manually input code into the site.

I will keep it in mind for smaller projects where there's maybe one or few products that won't change very often.

We'll figure something out tho. I'll probably be up still when you wake up in the morning
