Having a boat got tough on our wallet so we sold it. Now my brother has a small bass boat we will go out on but nothing like the armada we had back in the 80s 90s.

Certainly an expensive hobby. I just love it though. We no longer take big summer vacations. Normally go stay at my uncle in laws beach house for free a couple of times but other than that we are on the lake. Cutting out the big summer vacation was the only way I could justify the expense. Looks like the fuel gougers are at it again, guess I can look forward to $3 per gallon again this summer.

Well when we had it all there was my little john boat (I could pull it with my car and was a teenager) my dads old bomber, my grandpas tracker, my grandparents houseboat and then whoever else was down on the lake. We rented a bouy to tie the houseboat up to and a slip for my grandpas tracker and would use the tracker to get the houseboat.

The mahindra and my kia keep the gas shock down to a minimum. Fortunately our local Kroger also has gas and gives a discount if you buy so much in groceries per month.
