got up a bit late so behind on the game but just saw the goal, and holy shit that was just wow. The Keeper probably shouldn't of gotten beat, but I can't imagine that was meant to go in, think it was a cross that had eyes for the net.
And yeah, the NK defense has been pretty good, kind of surprised me actually.

Re: FIFA World Cup 2010
NK clearly played a defensive game with their goal being to frustrate Brazil. Every time Brazil had control, NK fell back and formed a defensive line in their backfield. NK played a fine defensive game, but I didn't think Brazil was playing to their potential. Granted, Brazil controlled the ball for most of the game, but they looked a little slow and not all that tight which only made it easier for NK's defensive formation to thwart most of Brazil's attacks. Anyway, the first group match always seems to weigh more heavily for any team. None of the first matches I've seen so far have been a real game yet with maybe the England/USA match being a slight exception. Hopefully the second and third games of the group matches will see more of that missing potential.

Re: FIFA World Cup 2010
um...wow.
Swiss are really putting it to the Spaniards. All the powerhouses have had problems putting the ball in the net (except Deutschland..). I mean the Swiss goalie has had some tremendous saves for the shots that are actually ON goal, but ghee whiz...most or Torres' and Ramos' shots have been extremely wide...Alonso i think has come the closest with hitting the crossbar.
