anyone else thinking this championship game is really sloppy? there is just no flow to this game at all.

The late yellow card on Netherlands was bullshit. The ref saw the play, looked away, then pulled the card after the guy threw a fit on the ground.

The game today was pretty bad. Netherlands came out like a bunch of hockey enforcers and got away from their normal game to try and thug out a win. Spain's attack was severely disrupted and they came back and started playing Netherlands' thug game a bit. All in all not a great display of soccer at all.

However, last night's 3rd place game, which was basically an exhibition that a billion people were going to watch or hear about, was an awesome match between Uruguay and Germany. Both teams went all out attack for most of the match, with a 3-2 final score and many many more chances. In the very last play of the game an awesome shot that would have tied it up and sent it into overtime went barely off the crossbar. It was the most exciting match of the tournament, I thought. Give the golden boot to Forlan or Muller because they both went all out yesterday (although Schneider had some hilarious attempts for Netherlands today, including the kickoff goal attempt).

All those cards and punk ass Puyol doesn't get one for a blatant take down on Robben. That is why players dive, because if they don't then the ref acts blind. BS. Holland deserved better.
