Re: UFC 114: Rashad Evans vs. 'Rampage' Jackson
Other than the Evans/Jackson and Bisbing fight, I predicted every thing wrong.
Some Results
I figured Diego would take this fight against the new name in Hathaway, but Hathaway stuffed all the take downs attempt and would have knocked him out if it was anyone other than Sanchez.
Lil Nog lost that fight I dont give a fuck what those judges say, they must have truly been blind. Nog won one round max! against a guy that came in on a months notice.
The Knock out by Russo to Duffee.... Where the hell did that come from. Gets lit up the whole fight and out of nowhere puts duffe out cold.... crazy
Bisbing did enough to win striking against miller, suprised those two didnt push harder but hey you do what you can.
And of course Rashad/Rampage.... Such a relief its done, Rashad executed his gameplan well, almost got taken out but stuck it out and got it!

Rashad vs Rampage was a huge disappointment. It looked like a monkey fighting a caveman. Rounds 1 & 2 were pretty boring except for that punch Rashad got in the first minute. Round 3 was how the entire fight should have been, but by that point you could tell Rampage was way too tired to defend takedowns after he failed to finish Rashad and then let him recover like an idiot. That being said, Rashad is the better fighter and deserved to win but it wasn't anything impressive and didn't live up the the moronic hype.

Oh i totally agree. What a waste of my time to watch these fights. So boring....both fighters aren't at all that great...and both are one dimensional. I thought it was going to be a slug fest and an exciting fight but all they did was bear hug each other lol.
Can't wait til Rua destroys rashad though...that fight might live up to the hype.

Re: UFC 114: Rashad Evans vs. 'Rampage' Jackson
I thought the fights were alright for the most part.... I do agree that I thought Rashad and Rampage woulda been more.... fierce?, but it still didnt seem all that bad, not up to the hype it was expected but Im glad they finally fought.
Ill probably pass on 115 but I dolike Franklin against Chuck more than Tito. At 116 it will be great to see two monsters in Carwin and Brock facing off!!!
117 has a lot of great names to me. Got Silva/Sonnen, Junior Dos Santos(!!!) vs Roy Nelson, John Fitch/Thiago Alves, and including others like Matt Huges, Thiago Silva! Then 118 in Boston... Definately some great cards to look forward to in the coming months
