Thread: Toy Story 3

Just saw it. In 3D. Epic awesome. I'm calling it Best Animated Picture, with a good shot at Best Picture. Best Pixar I've seen so far (I've seen all of them), even better than the other two Toy Storys. Amazing writing. Perfect blend of humor and emotion.

Bottom line: Go see it. In 3D if at all possible. You won't be disappointed. If you are a dude, take a girl. There's enough emotional stuff in it and it is a good enough movie that you can't lose.

I went to a midnight showing...avoid all the little kids and such.

I just saw it with my daughter. She enjoyed it alot. And he's right about the emotional ups and downs. It was written really well.

yes, I deff plan on seeing it...as far as 3D...nah...I dont want to pay that much to be honest...

Nice thing about a college town is that I can see normal movies, any time of the day or night for $4. Add $2.50 for 3D. Watching a movie in 3D here is cheaper than watching a normal movie back home.

How is is compared to Up? I didn't like Up at all.

Much, much better than Up. To me, Up was kind of going for more of an artistic thing; Toy Story 3, on the other hand, has a lot of humor along with the sentimental/emotional aspects of the movie. As I mentioned earlier, Toy Story 3 is in my personal opinion the best Pixar has yet to offer by far.
