Re: TRON 2.0
I have not anticipated a movie like this in years and years. About 16 years ago I played some TronMUD where it was all text but played like a round of CS:S, where everyone spawned and then tried to run each other over with lightcycles/nail each other with discs/blow up each other with those thrower things/etc. I was young and silly then and didn't realize that playing on a 14.4 modem on a MUD hosted in Great Britain was going to cause some lag issues, but I managed to hold my own. I hadn't seen the movie then, but when I finally saw it it (having played a game made in homage to it) was the best damn thing ever. Considering that they picked Daft Punk to do the score it sounds like they might know what they're doing in making a good sequel.
When he finds the digitizer machine that's going to throw him into cyberspace, if it does the same cheesy animation from the 80s I'm going to die with happiness. Right there just BAMJoin the TPG Folding @ home team: http://www.teamplayergaming.com/pc-h...ding-team.html

Re: TRON 2.0
I would like to drive one of those light cycles.
Oh wait, I could if I had $35K...
