    Any phones?

Anyone want to lend/sell me some older cheap ATT/Cingular phone until the white iPhone 4 comes out at the end of the month?

My iPhone 3G broke over a month ago and I have had to use a pink, yes pink, Razr. Somehow over the night the Razr's screen quit working, so I now am having a little trouble using my phone without a screen. I am hoping the white iPhone has fixed the grip of death problem hence why I want to wait....I'm eligible to upgrade now but the white iPhone doesn't come out for a few more weeks.

so to sum up, if anyone has an old phone that I can put my sim card in to that you are willing to give me, I'd appriciate it.

Because I already have an AT&T account, and I don't want to go through the hassle of canceling my contract, switching numbers, and trying to find all my contacts again.

    Re: Any phones?

You can keep your number across providers, its the law.

Any reputable store will be able to transfer your contacts from your current phone into a new phone, and a good store won't charge for the service either.

Since Apple adamantly refused to acknowledge that the grip of death even existed, and then it wasn't a problem, and then it was not really their fault, and then it was and we've issued a fix we promise (which fixed nothing, but shifted the blame back onto AT&T), I doubt they'll fix it for the next version, even stealthily. Imagine the backlash.
