Thread: Opening a Lounge Bar (any interior designers around here???)

So couple of my friends and I are thinking about opening a lounge bar...the space is about 150 square meters. Anyone here know anything about clubs and interior design?

We want to make it a chill, elegant place for people in the 23-35 range for men and 18 and up for the ladies

If anyone has any pictures of any clubs or lounges they really like, I'd appreciate if you can post them up.

P.S. the space is rectangular shaped.

Oh another thing, any suggestions lighting, bar, furniture or on a sound system would also be welcome.

Xav, I have no tips for you except I would recommend creating an environment that you and your friends enjoy being in.

thank u thank u...yea...we're gonna build something for that age range since there isn't much else around here, just the bars like at the crowne plaza or intercontinental hotels, which, for the lack of supply, people pack these places and it's really freaking expensive compared to the normal rates that bars have here...for example a bottle of black label scotch costs around $120 and at any other bar it costs $50. But since there aren't any other real bars around for 25-35 year olds, that's the only place to go for now.
