NEED serious ADVICE.. Calling all intelligent TTP'ers

I am in a very serious situation and need help as I have no clue what to do in it. June 26th while working at the pool I met a group of ladies. We talked some and it was all friendly. Later that evening I ran into the SAME group of ladies at a club. We talked, had a few drinks, and hung out for a few hours. Well I was leaving to go home when they asked if I could drop them at their hotel.. I did (being a nice guy). Well about the time I got home Security from the club (I use to work there) called and said a woman named "Daisy" (fake name) was asking for me. So I turn around and head back to the club to see a girl from the group.

Apparently she had been forgotten / left behind by her friends and her purse was missing. She wanted a ride to the hotel and to contact her friends. So I let her use my phone so she can contact them and she says she is mad and wants a drink. So we stop by a bar up the road from her hotel. Well she becomes.. "more than friendly".. so we go outside and she pursues even more. She climbs into the backseat (you can figure it out from there). I take her to her hotel and walk her to her room. Then I head home. It was a normal night.

(side note she told me in the backseat because we did this did not mean she was leaving her husband or kids. I just found out about them at that moment not before)

A week later I am working at the pool again and I am pulled to the side by our Security Manager and two deputy sheriff's. I was taken to the office and only interrogated. There was no arrest or anything. But I was being accused of rape by the woman. I am many things in life, but that is NOT one. I am not a theif, liar, or rapist. I have a PERFECTLY clean background. US military for SF, medic for 4 years, no tickets.. I mean COME ON..

They said they would give the info to the DA so he could figure it out and would get back to me. It has been nearly a month and I haven't heard anything from the DA or the police. Her husband sent me a message on FB though threatening me. I laughed it off as pure talk. But as for the being falsely accused of rape I am VERY pissed off. What do I do? I can't afford a lawyer as I was suspended from work pending the outcome of this situation. I was living check to check. I just moved and started staying with friends a few hours away. Got another job as a security manager at a bar, but Anyone got input I can use. I appreciate any feedback.

Just be honest and tell them your side of the story, it's likely that they'll assume she's crying wolf and will drop the charges.

Girls who go out and get drunk like that will sometimes do stuff like this, harsh but it's true. Unless you spiced her drink or something, it's not rape.

Funny thing is my ex tried to do the same thing to a guy she dated and went to regalia with, she said she tried to say no, but apparently he went further. I personally don't believe her story, cause she tried to get me to do stuff to her that likely would be considered rape. Thankfully she and I are no longer dating, it likely would've been disastrous anyhow.

Do you have ANY evidence pointing to the fact that it wasn't? Anything you can think of at all?*
All I can really say is try to read up on Rape laws in your state. See if you can find anything useful.

Read your state's laws.

I know in Wisconsin you can be charged with rape if you know your sexual partner to be "under the influence of an intoxicant to a degree which renders the victim incapable of appraising his or her conduct". In other words, if they are legally drunk they cannot give you consent to have sex and they can charge you when they sober up. It's meant to stop date rape where the guy gets the girl shitfaced and then 'consensually' has sex. It's a class BC felony which would entail $100k or 30 years in jail.

also sounds to me like you have some witnesses, get hold of that security gaurd that said the girl was asking for you

I currently live in Mississippi. I have been an EMT for quite some time. She was not intoxicated. She may of been emotionally upset/ pissed off at her friends for being left behind and losing her purse, but that was all.
