Don't hate. Being a busser for 2 years at minimum wage to a line cook making 8.50 an hour at 18 years old isn't bad.

You're 18 and you're willing to work. With that right there you deserve congratulations in my book. Even work hard enough to get employee of the month. Plenty to be proud about.
