Five Guys is the most overrated burger ever. I really am being serious here, I know 1 person out of about 20 that have liked it. I have went with different groups at lunch and they all prefer Smash which is in the next strip center. Their meat has zero flavor. The only thing good is they give you so many fries that a group can share.

Now go to Smashburger and get the Spicy Baja and I bet you will change your mind.

Chipolte bun, jalapenos (I prefer to get them grilled), guacamole, pepper jack cheese mmmmmmmmmmm

come on down to austin. get a greasy Dirty martins burger for a standard cheeseburger. Go to burger tex to build your own burger. Then try dan's/fran's and top notch for shits and giggles. top notch is the burger joint in dazed and confused. it still runs to this day. dan and fran allegedly divorced, leaving their restaurants split between the two.

Smash burger is pretty good. As I said in another thread my favorite is still Tempe's own The Chuckbox, for 5-6 bucks, you get a damn good burger cooked in front of your eyes. It may not have as many options as other places but it is good (basically you get the burger, buns, cheese (if you ordered it with cheese), they might do bacon or something not 100%, and then they have a condiment bar with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, etc etc. you put whatever and how much you want on it).
