China has xiaolongbao, succulent steamed dumplings that burst with a small flood of rich pork and crab broth when you sink your teeth into them. Texas has deep fried beer.

I heard on the radio about the fried food competition at the state fair this year. Some of the stuff sounded good, and some of it was just plain nasty.

They had those krispy kreme burgers here in KY. I had that with bacon and cheese plus an order of sweet potato fries. It was delicious....but I still haven't burned off all the calories

I just saw that on Gizmodo, and they guy is trying to patent his recipe.

Oh and on a side note, Xiaolongbao is freaking DELICIOUS.

My daughter told me about those after going there with my folks. My dad said a lot of the stuff seemed way overpriced.
