Manning Bowl II...Who is it ganna be?

so, what makes the best team? Superbowl wins? What is a great amount of superbowl wins? Does one have to win at least 3 to be considered good? Also, lets look at the talent back in the 70's, 80's, 90's vs today. While we are at it, the amount of games played back then vs today....

Peyton will win 3 more superbowl's before he retires...but that still wont be enough for the haters out there.

I would say that is a mix between post season success, including Superbowl wins and Conference Championship wins, then with a small percentage of regular season performance going into the mix as well. Right now the Colts are no better than the Green Bay teams in the mid 90's who were constantly at the top during the regular season, went to 2 superbowls and won one, but they had good regular season success but never got over that hump of winning another Superbowl. Those teams were good, but never get mentioned 10-15 years later because of their lack of post season success. Another team that always gets overlooked is the Buffalo Bills in the early 90's who went to 4 straight Superbowls and never won a single one of. Falling the the Giants, Redskins and I think Dallas twice. And its like Rock said earlier in this thread, people are gonna talk for a long time about how great of a QB Manning is/was, but the 1 ring vs. Brady's 3 rings is what people are going to remember more.

So he wins 1 in his first 13 years but will win 3 in his last 4-5? Come on Kraker.

And it's not about super bowl wins. Hell Buffalo was a great team back in the 90's. Went to the super bowl four straight times only won once. I'm sorry, but the colts of today are not better than Aikman and the cowboys of the 90's or Montana and the 49er's of the 80's. Both those teams had better defenses than the colts today.

If you want to argue that Manning is one of the best QB's then fine. But to say the colts are the best team in football ever, is asinine.
