So yesterday my boss sends out a msg via IM that certain employees working at home have to come into the office for some surprise mandatory meeting that she knows nothing about.

At this point the Digi sense is tingleing.

The reason is because the is possibility of layoffs/firings coming toward the month of december.

So I am kind scared shitless at this point.

Well around 1130a rolls around and the entire mgmt staff including the Vice President to hand out some prizes for some contest I never played mention attention to.

Well about 5 minutes later my name gets called. I walk over to where everyone is...there are 2 x 19 Inch Flat Panel Samsung TV's and 1 x Nintendo Wii waiting for me.

It was a nice surprise but here I am thinking they might talk to me about letting me go or something and I am having a heart attack since yesterday.

Digi...they are sweeten you up with the TV and Wii...just to fire you later...so it wont hurt so bad lol

well i am just tired of these surprises, especially the bad ones. right now my work is expecting some unrealistic performance goals to met especially with the next couples months being our slow business time of the year.
