when you just about become THAT guy...

So on top of nearly dying today... I was just about THAT guy that caused children to die in a horrific school bus accident...

Though it wasn't MY fault. I start to cross an intersection with a green light and notice a school bus barreling at me from the right. As I see him he locks the breaks and I see his eyes get about as wide as saucers... and he probably sees mine do the same... I actually had to kinda shunt my car to the left into the oncoming lane of traffic to avoid him as he finally got stopped in MY lane just as my ass-end cleared the front end of his bus. (I might have actually pulled a flintstones and put my feet down and picked my car up and moved it... not entirely sure.)

Had he hit me I'm sure it'd have made national news (don't all school bus accidents do so?) and I'd have been some monstrous villain in the whole shebang even though HE was the run running the red light.

Adrenaline... It's a hell of a drug.

If a school bus driver is running red lights he seriously needs to get fired

Last time i was in Philly they had one get pulled over. I was at a light when the cops finally got him to stop. All the kids where leaning out the windows screaming. I found out later that night on the news the fucker was driving them all home drunk as shit and he had hit like 3 or 4 cars.
