Ahhh, thats a good idea.
To give more incentive to join, we also could start posting more pictures on posts 2 and 3 rather than all on #1. (Enough that guests still come, but not so much that that is all they need.)

It's strange that the majority of guests always seem to be viewing one of about 10 different peep show threads. The "Monica Bellucci" and "JULY: Daniela Pestova vs. Megan Fox" threads seem to be especially popular.

The Monica Bellucci thread hasn't had a post in it since January 5th of last year and is buried in the 4th page of the Peep Show forum. Yet, there is almost always 10+ guests viewing it and I haven't seen any guests view any of the other threads on that page.

In addition, guests can not view the "Currently Active Users" list. So, they are not getting the idea to look at those particular threads from there.

It doesn't make sense. A minimal estimate would be that 168 people are visiting the forum each week to look at four pictures of Monica Bellucci (1 person per hour x 24 hours x 7 days). From what I've been seeing over the past few days 1,680 would be a more realistic number (10 people per hour x 24 hours x 7 days ). There's no way that a hundred, let along a thousand people are visiting this forum and randomly clicking on the same year old thread in a week's time.

Add to that, the fact that the 250+ other peep show threads and much of the rest of the forum are almost never being looked at by these guests.

I'm not sure what's going on but I highly doubt they're real people. It's not normal lurking behavior at all. Even if these people were being directed from another site (which my Google searches are saying is not the case), you'd expect that at least some would wander around the site and look at different threads.

I think its some kind of a forum bug. Ive seen members view the same attachment on some random page in the "Post your picture thread" and the same goes for GF, where i see people who never post in the spam forum, view the thread.

2 Things.

1. Most find those threads with a google search (or other search engine) which you'll also see sifting through the forums as well.

2. If we block viewing after first post to non members I could possibly see a negitive effect (what good is only catching the start of something, most good posts on a subject are scatttered through out a post. Also those search engines will also not be able to pick up any such info as well (so the redirects from searches will also fall off.
