WEC 51 Aldo vs. Gamburyan on Versus (Spoilers, card was on cable, watch it first)

This was a great night of fights and if you didn't see it I would highly recommend watching it On Demand or when it's replayed (Versus usually replays them Saturday or Sunday I think)

Kick ass... cool knockouts/submissions and even the decisions were exciting to watch and full of energy. Cerrone/Varner was a good co-main event although Varner was definitely outclassed. Since Garcia and the Korean Zombie both lost I wouldn't mind seeing a rematch between them. Jung got hit by a kick to the face that he never saw coming. And of course, Jose Aldo came out stronger and faster than ever, with striking and defense so crisp that I don't see how another 145 pounder is going to beat him. I wish he was fighting Frankie Edgar for the 155 pound UFC title... I'd still give Aldo the odds in that one. He looked that good.

Aldo looks much bigger than his weight would suggest. He reminds me of Silva when he fights at middleweight. Sure he made the weigh in but come fight night, he's a light heavyweight.

That being said, i would love to see Aldo fight at 155. He'd kill everyone.

He seriously has the potential to be the greatest of all time. World champion jiujitsu artist....great muay thai, great striking all together. The dude is just so talented.
