Which one? The video game remake? The John Carpenter Remake? Or the 1951 original?

Never saw the 1951 original. When I said one of the best horror movies I was referring to the John Carpenter remake. (I didn't even know they had a The Thing vid game.)

Since it is near Halloween, anyone ever do a poll of the top 5 horror movies? I'd love to hear what some others say to see if maybe I've missed some good ones.

Yea John Carpenters, The Thing, is one of the best horror films ever. Does anyone know who is directing it? That will play a major role on if the movie is good. Ridley Scott is going to be directing another Aliens movie so that is what I'm looking forward to.

prequel to the Thing would be pretty cool. Oh and the video game takes place right after the events of the movie. The storm ends and you are playing as a guy on the rescue party. It was pretty decent game, especially if you liked the movie.

Yeah this is about what happened to the Norwegian team that found the Thing. Should be interesting, although we all know at least two of the Norwegians make it out long enough to see the 1st movie, haha.
