So OchoCinco and TO and a slew of other players can dance, do goofy stuff, and be silly during a TD celebration, but a college hand sign is off limits?

TO and Ochocinco get fined for their crap as well. Still think it's dumb to get flagged for a hand signal that isn't vulgar.

but rarely do they get a penalty. Fines do not affect the outcome of the game. Penalties do.

The coaches should had out discipline for acting like a fool after a touchdown, not the NFL. And even then, a harmless hand symbol shouldn't be a penalty.

at least when I thought it was the leapfrog (impressive BTW) it was something large and noticeable. A hook-em-horns would be tough to spot from the stands or the TV.

They SHOULD have been penalized for the Leap Frog, because the nfl rules specifically state you can't leave your feet or use props, including the football (exceptions are made for spiking and the Lambeau Leap).

I would imagine they may have something in place against hand signals/signs. Maybe having something to do with player formerly throwing up gang signs?

Articles from like 2008, but yes pretty stupid opinion to say the rules are racist. I like in one part the person seems to think that Blacks are being "pushed" towards roles outside QB But its a remnant of the "racist past." Isn't it more likely due to the fact, that, the African-Americans on the Highschool or College team are just better athletes then the white kid? Or, I know, its that whites are being "pushed" away from roles like RB and WR because of their skin color! it makes sense now!!
