......is depending on you to fill in as IT and make sure his seminar, which is hosting 150 people, runs smoothly... Well, the real IT guy did not give me admin rights and I have Windows updates coming up, which I cannot stop. If this happens during the seminar, which has just started, I'm going to fucking kill ~~something~~ ~~somebody~~ everybody...

Start > Control Panel > System and Security > Then turn off automatic updating.

Personally, I wouldn't worry about it... because technically, that's the ITs and business' fault. How do they expect you to do IT work when you have ZERO access to said computer. Do you have the IT's phone #?

Dude is back east and unreachable atm.... I met with him to go over this stuff earlier in the week, but I guess he didn't give me full rights..just semi...

Like you said though, if it happens, well, then it happens....
