how the hell can you not know what sustained means? I knew what that meant and how to spell it in about grade 3 or 4.
Anyways in context it could mean something like sustaining an order, or keeping the order. or if you challenged a motion in court it could be "sustained"

With the avalibility of information on the web today you could have just gone to Merriam-Webster and found what I copied and pasted below. Man I really hate it when
well i didnt do an extensive search , since i was at work , i just typed it into google and read wat came up....i wasnt trying to imply that i didnt put enough effort in, just that at that moment with i was time restricted and wasnt suppose to be browsing the internet anyway
