11-19-10, 04:18 PM #1People put things off
So, last Friday, I called up my psychiatrist to tell them that they needed to call my insurance so I could get approval for my new medication. I've ended up being busy all week (finals) so I wasn't able to call again until today. I expected things to be done, but they hadn't even started getting my approval ready until today, specifically, when I called them up as it reminded them to do it.
Anyway, what that means is that I likely won't be getting my prescription approved today. I have to go back to Texas tomorrow, too. No big deal though, I can just get a prescription called into a Walgreens in Texas...nope, they don't call in prescriptions, and the doctor went home early today.
What this means is that I have to get a new psychiatrist just to get back on an anti-depressant before I start school. It also means that I'll have a week long period where I'll be coming down from dosage on one AD and hopping onto a new one, assuming it's actually approved by the time I get back to school two weeks from now.
I can't be off of my AD any longer. I've been off of one for the last month and a half. As a result, assuming my advisor did his job, I'm having to take incompletes for all of my classes last quarter, which means in addition to the 8 hours I'm taking for Winter Quarter, I'm also taking 10 more hours on top of that. 12 hours is the max for most students to take.
WTFenf-Jesus its been like 12 minutes and you're already worried about stats?! :-P
Bigdog-Sweet home Alabama you are an idiot.
