good lord, just watched 5 minutes of the US one, and I already hate the hosts. They are such fucking shit, the British hosts were at least pretty good, the U.S. ones seem so fake.

go back and watch season 1 of the uk series... it sucked hard. Now apply it to the us version... it'll get better unless the uk fanbois shoot it down before giving it a chance.

I like Tanner btw... incredible driver. Watched him on the first US top gear type show Supercars Exposed and became a fan there.

If they get better I'd probably give it a shot, I do like that they have Tanner Foust there at least.

I wonder who Stig is. Their mystery driver. I bet it's somebody like Tony Stewart or something...

Not only that but they review the same shit in the same format. I'd like to see a top gear that reviewed anything with an engine. TOTAL TOP GEAR

personally I think it Foust + Pastrana would have been great for hosts. There is another driver that does rally (and X-game's super rally iirc) that pretty well known stateside but can't remember

* I am a huge fan of the original. The US version is a corny knock off we can agree. I just like to see the new supercars. Part of the problem with british top gear is they use british edition cars. Example: The british version high end mitsubishi evo is more powerful than the availible high end US version. They have different available cars and so forth. The us version uses cars we can buy and puts the prices in american. I know it snt as good. The hosts other than tanner suck. The skits arent funny. The two comedic hosts don't hold merit. their comments don't seem to have any substance or experience behind them. I want to see people who know about cars drive cars, not some complete ass hats who say FUCK every time they shift in a LAMBO.

I have watched the first two and im about to watch the third on history.com.

TWo things im surprised about. The 120k viper is the fastest around the track so far, beating all three of the most expensive Lamborghinis available. The viper is the last viper without traction control. new legislation will force all cars to have traction control systems after 2011 or 2012. it is very surprising to me that it seems to be faster around a track than lambos.

An evo can drive on snow! DAmn i want to do that !
