Man, f all these haters. You guys need to listen to Slik, he knows what's up. I bet that Cliff Lee thought that he was playing the World Series when they were beating the Devil Rays, and that those silly games against the Giants were just some dumb spring training game during a cold snap. His zenlike calm can sometimes do that to him. Another possibility is that, after the Phillies told Davy Lopes that they weren't going to give him a raise in the offseason, he got pissed and (because he is a deviously brilliant spymaster) dosed Cliff with like 500x the amount of cyanide it would take to kill a full grown man, which in this case made Cliff hang a few fastballs up in the zone. Naturally this just brought down Cliff's price a bit so that the Phillies could sign him, which was probably Lopes "tough love" way of saying "no hard feelings, guys."

Fuck yeah. Right on Slik/badprimer. The rest of you... pssh, it's like sometimes we aren't even watching the same games.
