He also produces albums for black metal gods from Sweden, Opeth. And the singer for Opeth, Mikael Åkerfeldt, does vocals for Porcupine Tree on Deadwing.

I looooove Opeth. I won't go so far as to call them prog, MAYBE prog metal, so they don't quite fit into this thread, but regardless, Blackwater Park is unrivaled in all realms of music.
