Thread: Family is STUPID!

I dont charge but most will buy me some pepsi or cigarettes for doing it.

I dont charge, but I make the experience as painful for them as it is for me to fix it. They have to sit next to me and watch and be bored while i fix it. If that doesn't work, next time THEY work the mouse and fix it with me sitting there telling them what to do... Don't like it? Don't fuck it up next time.

here was one from a couple days ago:

Friend: Videos are playing back really crappy on my laptop.

Me: that's because you have an integrated graphics card and no ram.

Friend: no, I mean worse than usual, it's been getting worse.

Me: Have you updated your video drivers?

Friend: What?

Me: Give it here.

Friend: are you going to break it?

Me: I've never broken your computer.

Friend: yes you did that time when you put 7 on it.

Me: no, you took it before i had a chance to finnish what i was doing, your dad broke it.


My friend is like a brother that i don't want to kill most of the time, but i swear his computer literacy is limeted to such a basic level that i'm going to have to teach his future kids how to do anything more than type up a report or use skype.

Yeah my dad always kills me. I'll be sitting there trying to get a some shit working and he just sits there staring like a little kid "Are you done yet?."

His one printer was giving me trouble, it was like 12 years old and I couldn't find a driver that worked for it (Win 7 64bit). I explain this issue, and all he can do is continue on with this stupid joke every 2 minutes, or when one of the other two people walk by "What, you can't find a Richard Petty?" (And just going from NASCAR driver to NASCAR driver thinking that he's hilarious!)
