Ford rangers ALWAYS been an awesome truck, just always to small, From the looks of it they finally are modeling it close to the f150, The ranger shoulda been the f150 and vice versa, Ive personally always loved the f250's or 350turbo disels, Anyways my cute little ford explorer sport gets the job done.

Re: Sick for a stock truck
Before i bought my trailer i would carry everything in the bed of the truck and many times it was 600 yards of carpet with glue, wall base, prep, amd what ever else the job required. Just the rug came in at a minimum of 7500 lbs and that just the light shit. I remember putting 400 yards of enhancer back rug on her and the front tires almost came off the ground literally.
That being said the bed does have a mild lean you can see between the cab and the bed (a little wider at the top then the bottom) and some of the runners for the floor of the bed have been caved in a bit. Of course i bought it as a work truck so i expected some damage due to the loads but for a 6 cyl. 99 xlt shes handled more then many people would even consider doing to a truck.

Eh, pulling is different than towing. There is no tongue weight... Let's see that truck launch and recover a 36' Grady White like this Cummins Diesel:

Re: Sick for a stock truck
My sisters husband has a boat a little shorter then that i believe its 30 ft maybe 32 he towes it with a tahoe. Boats are not very heavy to begin with. If i had to guess i would say that boat is in the neighborhood of 12 13 thousand lbs. I've towed more then that with my f150 v6. Those trailors are designed to set the distrubution of weight close to the wheels. Granted its not perfect but the tongue weight isn't as extreme as you think. You also have to keep in mind tongue weight also aids in traction. Now if you have your load shifted to far forward you gain traction but lose steering capabilities. If the weight is to far back you picking up on the truck and losing traction.
