Games don't care about what you play with...
Every time I try to play a game with my controller(Logitec rumblepad2) the controls are always messed up. Apparently theres this huge difference in the way controllers are coded that makes these problems come up. My question is why the hell don't game makers take 5 mins out of their day to add multiple gamepad support and not just the crappy 360 controller support?
I don't like the 360 controller. I don't plan on using a 360 controller. I don't see why I'm practically forced to spend money on a 360 controller when I have a perfectly good controller already. It just irritates the crap out of me...I mean it can't be that hard to add support for multiple controllers.
Sigh...

Bugs me as well, usually mine works but it takes like 5 minutes to figure out "Okay, is button 1 the same as button x?" and so forth. Sometimes it fucks up the sticks as well which annoys the shit out of me (as a PS1/PS2 and PC gamer)
