Re: Superbowl Ad/Halftime/non-game Discussion
Decent? I honestly can't comprehend how anyone can even begin to see the slightest positive aspect from a "performance" like that.
If I wanted to see a bunch of Mortal Kombat rejects pretending to sing like robots while awkwardly standing around and not doing anything interesting I guess it might have been fun.
Furje or whatever that tranny's name is can sing about as well as a wolfhound with throat cancer. Then there's the two black guys (Donno their names) who are pretty good at pretending to sing through auto tune I guess. But I gotta say, the Asian guy dressed like a character from Running Man who apparently doesn't even PRETEND to sing or do anything important EVER was the icing on the cake.
What happened to showmanship? Energy? I'm a rock kind of dude, but I'd have been happy with a hip-hop group that had some god damn feeling to their performance. These guys just stood around, then got angry and yelled a little while standing around, then got sad while standing around. No movement, no excitement, no energy.

I don't know about you guys but I think next superbowl we should give the peas a second chance
haha seriously though, even though the superbowl is the most difficult venue on the planet (massive echo from the speakers, audience overpowering, ect.) that was just terrible. The saddest part was the look on Slash's face when fergie was grindin' up on him haha, he was like "get yo'self away from me woman" lol. I am in no way a fan of Usher but at least he did decent and had a moderate amount of energy...more so than the peas anyways.
I think the only one I actually liked in recent years was the Tom Petty halftime show, I was suprised. I liked the brief lineup of oldschool rock and roll artists. I guess it's back to pop now...

Girlfriends of America are ruining this country.....
Halftime show by the Black Eyed Peas...lame. Although they did have Slash in there, he was lit up like a fucking christmas tree ornament, lame. Superbowl to be followed by a special M.J. edition of Glee, lame....
As far as commercials (didnt read this whole thread to see if it was posted), the VW one was my favorite...
