No I didn't score him but, he did come in at 19lbs 9 inch beard 1/2 inch spurs, and Mebad I used a slate call to get him to 60 yards then my mouth call to get him to 12 yards, then BOOM. It took me a little while to convince him to leave his hens.

On the issue of what is or isnt a sport. In my opinion any game that is scored with actual tangible evidence is a sport. there are sports where judges can come into play, but im sorry ribbon dancing and synchronized swimming are not sports. If there is a score then it is a sport. Looks like BT scored a turkey. There is tangible evidence of his score.

Yes it is very much fun. Most people complain its toooo much walking but, if your a good woodsman you know where the birds are or any game for that matter. The only reason I had to walk a lot that day, because I wasn't able to keep tabs on the birds, truck was in the shop. It took me 5 years to kill my first one, and now I get at least 1 a year.

Luckily, I can walk out of my back door and get them and deer. I'll see if I can find some pictures.

Well, I walk across the road to public land. Drive 10 mins to private land. I rather walk out the back door though.

Well Turkey season is over. I didn't get to hunt the last week because of all the tornado damage here. I might take a trip to where the seasons run into May. So I got 1 this year good enough for me.
