Name an psychological and sociological effect?
Im writing a scholarly journal on a psychological and sociological effect which my research has revealed, currently has no name.... Does one purpose a name for this? This is by no means my first article, however, it is the first time I am writing about something someone has not yet named....
So what does one do here? Do I propose a name in my thesis? I am not utterly certain that it doesn't have a name, since its a complex concept of which I do not know an existing name for, which makes it really, really hard to search for...
So ya.... any advice?

If your research has revealed it, and it truly has not been previously described, then I'd say you discovered it, and you have naming rights.

When in doubt, ask your advisor or a professor. They're going to be pretty familiar with the question you're asking.
