They can absolutely stand to make more $$$. The question is, will they. Can Cuban create a system that will still shovel out the millions consistently to the SEC, PAC 10, Big 12, etc... as the BCS does now?

From a purist stand point, a playoff is the obvious choice. But the decision will never be made on the basis of the most competitive option. It will be made on how much money the conferences are getting now versus what they can get with a new set up.

And you can bet the farm that if they play extra games at the end of the season b/c of a new system that player compensation will become even more relevant in the world of NCAA football.

Very true, but I'm almost certain the conferences aren't going to say "We really have enough money, we don't need the extra millions"...........haha, even if it does mean a better system.
