Confortis is quite expensive, but that is because it really works. While my dogs are on Confortis, they don't have fleas. The key is to keep them on it at all costs and you won't have a problem. Use the Borax to treat your carpets and rugs first, then get your dogs on Confortis.
Its like $15 a month single dose or buy 6 months at a time it drops to around $10 a month. But yeah 1 pill a month and no fleas. It fucking works!

    Fleas in Florida

I live in Florida and "spring" arrived about a month and a half ago, along with a plethora of fleas! How to control, treat and prevent fleas on the pet, in the home and in the yard.

I get a can of spray from the vet once a year and it nukes them inside. Once I spray it they are GONE. Occasionally they will come back once or twice during the year but one can easily lasts the year for the entire house. I actually still have half a can from last year as they weren't bad last year. I can't remember the name of it right now but I'll look when I get home and let you know.

Krakkens and shit. stop tempting them.

whenever that problem arose we always used to treat the carpeted areas inside with Borax powder. Works like a charm.

    Re: Flea issue any suggestions?

As I said earlier, Frontline or Advantix does the trick. Once applied, we had no issues on the dog or in our house. If you think about it this way, once your dog is medicated with the product, the fleas are still looking for a host - the dog. They die once getting on the dog and biting. Basically the dog is a walking flea killer.
