Thread: Watching a movie over skype, anyone know a means of sending the audio?

Pretty much I'm using screen share to send the video which works perfectly fine. What I need to figure out is a method of send the my computer's audio out over the skype call or by other means so that the reciever can in a sense "hear what I hear"

*By means other then putting the mic next to the speaker*

Mic Hole <---------cable--------> Audio Hole

Not sure if that would work or not, can't try it cause I don't have a double male.

That's probably the best idea, se if you can borrow one from someone.

Taskbar -> Speaker Icon -> (Right Click) -> Recording Devices -> (Right Click) -> Show Disabled Devices -> Enable Stereo Mix (and set as default) -> Leave open.

Test to see if the Stereo Mix is receiving sound by playing music or something and watching the bar next to Stereo Mix to see if it turns green.
If it doesn't:

Playback Tab -> Start setting different devices as default until Stereo Mix receives sound.
Note: Also make sure the same recording device is set in skype.

Sweet man, seems to work. I did a test run over xfire and roadhog could hear it pretty fair. Thanks alot!
