When my computer starts smoking during a L4D2 game...

My computer shut off once for no reason. Started it back up, got back in L4D2 and 10 minutes later... bam. It happened again. I put my hand on top of my computer and the top of the case was too hot to touch. The back end was smoking. All of the dust being burnt off apparently. I took the computer apart and started it up... the 120mm fan was completely seized on the power supply. I didn't smell it because I am mega congested from a cold.

But, this story ends well. I had another 120mm fan and as of this post, my computer is up and running. But, now this fan has stupid blue LEDs that light up my room. lame.

Go to FrozenCPU.com | 1.877.243.8266 | World's Largest Selection of PC Modification Supplies and order a new fan. They have a lot to choose from. You can likely get a lower noise fan with better airflow if you shop around.

the fan has built in LEDS. No switch. It also uses molex, so it doesnt directly connect to the mobo. Although, I dont think any fans have controllable leds through the mobo. I will probably just order a new one. Youre right.
