Hello fine folks of TPG,
I'd like to draw your attention to a point I think would be worth discussing, related to the CS:S servers. Sorry to whoever use this section to post about fajitas, broken guitar or other FML subjects
Oftentimes, a CT will go afk and the T's will get a plant and eventualy get rid of all remaining CTs, but this last one afkers.
What happens somehow a lot in these situations is that the CT get slain with maybe 3 or 4 seconds left on the bomb (the admins cant have eyes everywhere, they have so much to monitor so I dont blame them for noticing at that moment! ), effectivly ending because theres no more ennemy standing.
Now, with so little time on the clock, the defending T's end up losing their weapon anyway because of the blast, plus they lose an extra 500$ because its a wipeout win, not a bomb win.
I saw this happen quite a few times, from either point of view, and I think that it made enough of a difference in tight matches/big comeback from T's to be mentionned!
What do you guys think? Is there something I overlooked?

Re: Of slaying with a bomb ticking
I see what you mean duncan, but there are a ton of reasons why it happens sooner than later.
The same problem could be said to the T team itself. More common that you'll get people hunting down those last CTs rather than positioning to cover and run away at the last second to stay alive. Those instances also rob the team of their 500$ bomb win. Rather than give the team the cash they want that kill instead. And if it's an AFK this is likely to happen over 80% of the time.
When it comes to AFK I give everyone a small chance to come back. Cause it happens to everyone where you think you'll have a minute before the next round and you turn out not to. . The majority of the time they do come back. When they don't and you wait they get killed before the bomb goes off anyways.
Typically it's just a matter of the admins noticing it after death and taking care of it right then instead of the beginning of the next round -- when they got to buy, maybe start a vote, or make/listen to calls, or issue warnings or other slays. Additionally if the admin is kicking them, this may create the 3 man under circumstance, and they'll want to be able to switch some players in before the next round starts.
