Which I'm reasonably sure never happened in the book.

Regardless we're dealing with a world where snow zombies freeze you with a touch, skeletons attack like bony land-mines, dragons have kentucky fried children for dinner, giant's roam the world and witches give birth to shadow assassin creatures... I think we can deal with one guy that's just a little freakishly strong.

isn't the hound infected and weakened because he wouldn't let arya cauterize the wound because he is terrified of fire? So yes, she kicked his butt under these circumstances but would she win if he was fully healed?

In the book, he just succumbed to the infection... here they must have decided that wasn't sensational enough.

It's missing the character of Coldhands who is an undead ranger...he is the one that helped Sam through the wall by traveling under in a secret tunnel... who also helped guide Brandon's party through the north and helps them with food/shelter/battling the undead. Also Jamie did not mention Tyrion's first wife Tysha when he helped him escape which is why Tyrion confronted his father to find out what happened to her. Tywin replies "wherever whores go". Tyrion travels to the free cities to search for Tysha...he ends up in the company of...okay I won't spoil the rest of the book.
